BY RAIL

London St Pancras - Bedford
Once in Bedford train station, a bus service is available from Bedford station to Cranfield University (Cranfield Connect, also known as UNO Bus; information related to this service is detailed below).

BY BUS 

Please note that different companies refer to the University stops in different ways. The main bus stop is named either as ‘Cranfield University’ or ‘Wharley End (Cranfield), Cranfield University main gate’.

Cranfield Connect (also known as UNO bus lines) provides a quick and efficient way of traveling from Bedford. An alternative to UNO Bus is Stagecoach, which operates line 52. Timetable information is available in the following links:

AIR TRAVEL 

London Luton Airport, located just off Junction 10 of the M1, is the closest airport to campus. 

From here you can catch a train direct from Luton Airport Parkway station to Bedford. National rail travel information website .

On arriving at Bedford you can take a bus or taxi to the campus.

Alternatively there are bus services to Milton Keynes, where you can change for a bus to Cranfield campus. Alternatively, a quicker option is to take a taxi.




There are good airport links from several airports around Cranfield.  These include:

London Gatwick

Birmingham Airport

CRANFIELD AIRPORT:

Executive air travel is also an option to Cranfield campus via Cranfield Airport. Several FBO's operate in this airfield. Fees and reservations are available on the provided link.

There are several taxi companies operating from Milton Keynes, Bedford or locally at Cranfield.  The taxi journey from Milton Keynes or Bedford to campus takes about 25 minutes.
